Act to provide, having regard to the need to secure an increase in the amount of electricity capable of being generated in the State and the limited amount of capacity in the natural gas network that is available for that purpose, for the allocation to persons by the Commission for Electricity Regulation of the use of a certain amount of that capacity for the purposes of supplying natural gas in connection with such generation, to enlarge the powers of Bord Gáis Éireann under the Gas Acts, 1976 to 1998, to otherwise amend and extend those Acts, to amend the Electricity Regulation Act, 1999, in certain respects and to provide for related matters
