Summary

Act to give effect to Council Framework Decision of 19 July 2002 on combating trafficking in human beings; to give effect, in part, to the United Nations Protocol to prevent, suppress and punish trafficking in persons, especially women and children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against transnational organised crime, done at New York on 15 November 2000, and the Council of Europe Convention on action against trafficking in human beings done at Warsaw on 16 May 2005; for those purposes to amend certain enactments; to amend section 3 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001; and to provide for matters connected therewith
