Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the fact that organisations (details supplied) are presenting misleading information on their websites to the effect that greyhounds exported to China are still owned by persons in Ireland; if such sales or transfers of ownership from Ireland to China have been recorded in line with section 10 of the Welfare of Greyhounds Act 2011; if prosecutions and or penalties have been imposed on persons who failed to comply with section 10 of the Act; if he will cease such exports to China; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
