Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment the status of the progress by Inland Fisheries Ireland on the CARE project; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that local groups are of the view that IFI (details supplied) is not making sufficient progress in this matter and that progress can be made soon in this project in order to prevent funding returning to the EU if not utilised.
