121 Ms Enright asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the progress that has been made on the recommendation in the report of the task force on autism of October 2001 that, facilitated by the newly established post-holders for ASD co-ordination and as an interim measure until such time as the independent diagnostic services recommended by the task force have been agreed and implemented, the current health board arrangements for ASD services, including diagnosis, continue to operate; that assessment reports and other relevant diagnostic and intervention information be made available as required to assist the DES inspector and the multi-disciplinary team in the identification of appropriate interventions and supports for persons diagnosed with an ASD; if such a recommendation has been carried out; the extent to which; if not completed, when it will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
