Deputy Clare Daly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 150 of 17 January 2017 and in view of the fact that both the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Scottish Government have made formal requests of the British Government to extend the Pitchford inquiry to their respective jurisdictions (details supplied), the reason she is choosing not to make the same request on behalf of the Irish public; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
