Deputy Martin Browne asked the Minister for Education her views on the way in which the education of a child with learning difficulties could be affected if that child’s single parent is no longer able to afford to pay for a private school bus service due to there being no public school buses in their area serving a school that is just 6 km away; her further views on the impact the lack of a suitable school bus services in areas of County Tipperary will have on families that cannot afford a private service; if she will consider providing a subvention for parents in this situation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
