Deputy Cormac Devlin asked the Minister for Transport if he will request TII to investigate the placing of new rumble strips and chevrons as part of roadworks at the junction of the M50 and M11 adjacent to Newvale, Shankill, County Dublin which have resulted in a significant increase in noise levels from the road which is having devastating impact on local residents; if TII will consider replacing them with flexi bollards or another solution that does not have such a detrimental impact; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
