Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if legal impediments exist here to ban high risk vendors from participating or deploying in the telecommunications networks of Ireland; if the Attorney General has been consulted on the matter; if a telecommunications company has threatened legal action against the State if it was to enforce a ban; if so, if such advice and the name the telecommunications companies which threatened such legal action will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
