Durkan asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the number of local authority houses commenced and or built by each local authority in 2017; the way in which the number related to the number of eligible persons on a waiting list of the local authorities in question; the extent to which the number will be increased in 2018; the extent to which it is expected to reduce the number on the waiting lists in each local authorities in 2018; his plans for an accelerated building programme to deal with the situation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
