109 Deputy Joanna Tuffy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if steps have been take to ensure that National Lottery funds are allocated on a fair and transparent basis and that there are no questions arising as to whether of not any political influence was brought to bear on those decisions or any bias towards constituencies with Ministers, in view of studies that have suggested otherwise (details supplied); if he will ensure that the manner in which grants are announced is also on the basis of fair and transparent system of allocation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
