PQ 1094

1094. Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will provide the rationale for embarking upon a consultation process to subject pre-1980 vintage and classic cars to NCT tests and taxation assessment, when this has now been discontinued in the United Kingdom and which would be extremely punitive for owners of such cars which are often retained for car displays and other such events; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
