Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason the case of a person (details supplied) who applied to have their car certified as not in use from July 2015 has now received a car tax bill of €1,892; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this person had sent in an RF150 form to state their car was off the road; if this person is only due to pay tax from the present as they get their car back on the road; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
