Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a decision was made that inspections being carried out by the Revenue Commissioners on behalf of his Department under the geographical indicators scheme would be carried out on an annual basis; the reason that the scale of fees charged does not relate to the size of distillery involved; his plans to revise these fees to encourage the development of micro distilleries; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
