Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if the introduction of local community development committees as set out in the Local Government Bill 2013 is consistent with the draft common provisions regulations of the European Structural and Investment Funds 2014–2020, with particular reference to the decision by him to allocate primary responsibility for co-ordination, oversight and governance of the EU supported Leader programme to these committees.
