1223 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the talks planned with Mr. Tony Blair, in relation to the top-up grant issue, which is financially curtailing students in Donegal from being able to access educational institutions locally in Derry, Coleraine, and Belfast; and if she will make a statement on the matter in the context that the North of Ireland is now a different entity to other parts of the United Kingdom courtesy of the Good Friday Agreement and therefore progress on this matter is urgently required if we are to see tangible results from the many plans that are in place.
