Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if his Department contacted Kildare County Council in the matter of issues that arose in respect of the operation of the company operating in a voluntary housing capacitiy under the capital allowance scheme; if funds were transferred by his Department to the company in question in the interim if an examination was carried out of the modus operandi of the company with particular reference to the return of such properities to the ownership of the local authority where such companies have been struck off or have otherwise become dysfuctional due to a non observance of operational requirement; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
