Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the current requirements for taxis in relation to the fitting of decals by an authorised supplier; if the presence of a decal is now a requirement for passing the annual suitability test for taxi drivers; if there are any supports available for taxi workers for the fitting of a decal in view of the fact that it may cost up to €250 to have their car upgraded in this way; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
