O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the action which has been taken, following the failure of a developer to comply with the directions of his Department to restore an area to its original condition, arising from attention having been drawn to the concerns of an association (details supplied) concerning the construction of a slipway and jetty at Walton Cove, Oysterhaven, County Cork which impeded access for the public along the foreshore and resulted in underwater mooring lines posing a hazard to navigation; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that four substantial pontoons have been laid outside the foreshore area causing further obstruction of access to the general public and hazards to navigation; and if he will take action to deal with these matters.
