Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health further to his comments on the status of maternity services at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe during his visit to County Roscommon, if he will confirm that the isolated regional review of maternity services has now been abandoned and that the determining factor in the future of the service will be dependent on the separate national review; if the hospital group review of the West-North West Hospital Group will form part of the national review; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
