Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of drivers involved in a fatal or serious road collision that were tested for alcohol from 1 January 2012 to 30 June 2012; the number of fatal or serious collisions that have occurred since January 2012 in which the drivers involved have not been tested for their alcohol level either at the crash scene, in the Garda station or in hospital and the reasons for not testing in all cases; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
