Deputy Michael McNamara asked the Minister for Social Protection is she will identify the provisions in the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005 or Statutory Instrument 142 of 2007 which provide a lawful basis for discriminating between those who receive social welfare payments directly to their bank accounts and those who receive their payments through the post office network in the manner prescribed for proving their respective unemployment.
