171 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he has reviewed the new World Energy Outlook 2006 from the International Energy Agency which warns that many countries are on an unsustainable energy path characterised by under investment, a strong risk of supply disruptions and increasing greenhouse gas emissions and face a dirty, insecure and expensive energy future; if he will review his Green Paper targets for renewable electricity and overall renewable energy in view of this further warning and the alternative policy scenario as set out in the IEA’s publication; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
