Deputy Martin Ferris asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment Inland Fisheries Ireland's contingency plan for the management of pike introductions into waters which they do not currently inhabit, for example, Lough Lein, County Kerry, Lough Melvin, County Fermanagh, and so on; the person or body that will be tasked with the removal of these pike; the way in which the removal of illegally introduced pike will be funded; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
