PQ 127

127. Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the tendering process for enhanced home services for older people in the community; the way it is envisaged that the new tender price that requires a reduction of 20% in the hourly rate payable to those providing the services will provide an acceptable level of service when it is clear that well established home care companies were unable to provide acceptable levels of service at this hourly rate in the past; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
