Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Finance the steps available to insurance policyholders who were indemnified by a company (details supplied) which had a provisional liquidator appointed by the Supreme Court of Gibraltar on 25 July 2016; the remedies available to such policyholders who were involved in road traffic accidents prior to that date; if it is possible for such persons to resort to the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
