Durkan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the correct procedure to be followed whereby a minor currently living outside the EU but under the legal joint guardianship of Irish citizens living in this country who may have to exercise the guardianship by way of bringing the child to this jurisdiction due to the state of the parents health; if a procedure should by way of visa or other residency procedure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
