Durkan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if consideration might be given to awarding Stamp 4 status to undocumented residents here who have been living continuously and working in this jurisdiction for several years, whose children have been born here, such children having no knowledge of any other lifestyle; if cognisance might be taken of the recent announcement by President Obama in respect of Irish undocumented in the US as a template for a similar situation in this country; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
