Deputy Marian Harkin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the implications for animals moving across the Border from Northern Ireland to here and vice versa for slaughter or as carcasses in the context of Brexit; if an all-island approach and a level playing field will continue to apply to each aspect of agricultural production and processing on the island of Ireland; and the actions that have been taken or will be taken by both Governments to ensure full co-operation between farmers on both sides of the Border.
