Deputy Gary Gannon asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs in the context of the stated view of the UN in 2020 that the Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory are a significant source of human rights violations, and in view of the fact that the Israeli Government has now vowed to further build and expand such settlements, what actions he intends to take, in addition to condemnation and denunciation, to ensure that Ireland has no involvement with business activities in or with these settlements, or in sustaining an illegal situation which could amount to a war crime under international law; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
