O’Keeffe asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the arrangements in place to ensure that timely responses are received from the Health Service Executive to issues raised with her by way of parliamentary questions; her views on whether it is acceptable that a response, which would normally under Dáil regulations have to be given by a Minister within four working days, has not yet been received from the Health Services Executive after two months, as exemplified by the lack of response received arising from Question No. 404 of 28 September 2005; and if arrangements will be made to have a proper accountable democratic system put in place regarding parliamentary questions tabled to her.
