Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications if his attention has been drawn to the requirements of the defective blocks scheme (details supplied) that limits scheme participants that as a consequence of defective blocks must entirely rebuild their homes and to out-of-date standards in that rebuilding; and if he will consult with the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to allow persons that qualify for the defective blocks scheme to receive automatic access to SEAI supports.
