Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if his attention has been brought to a report by international NGO Grain which shows an increasing rapidity in the decline in the number of small farms and a corresponding rise in the number of corporately-owned and large scale farms; and if he is satisfied that the newly-agreed Common Agricultural Policy contains sufficient measures to support small farms in keeping with the traditional focus of European agriculture.
