Deputy Joan Collins asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government when his Department will issue the foreshore licence, which he approved in principle in December 2016, to Sligo County Council in respect of the development of the proposed pier and pontoon scheme in Rosses Point, County Sligo; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the council requires the foreshore licence as a matter of urgency in order to allow it make an application for grant aid for the project to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
