Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question No. 258 of 18 September 2024, the number of dual use export licences he has granted in the past 24 months to states currently answering a case under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide; the number he has granted in the same period issued regarding persons or companies based in a territory which the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has sought arrest warrants for the civil and military leadership of; if he is aware of the recent terrorist attack on Lebanon; if he is confident that the 'as sure as possible' checks his Department carry's out are sufficient to ensure that Ireland is not in breach of its international obligations; if he will suspend the issuance of all dual use export licences in such instances; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
