159 Mr. McGuinness asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children, further to a previous parliamentary question, the reason for the delay in arranging an appointment for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow at Waterford Regional Hospital in view of the fact that they were referred to a pain specialist by their surgeon on 14 November 2005; if the new information and request for an early appointment submitted would be considered; if a response from the Health Service Executive will be expedited regarding this urgent matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
