Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Health the criteria applied when referring persons to the new initiative in place in Louth County Hospital awaiting orthopaedic treatments; the pathways persons are referred; if persons that are currently awaiting orthopaedic treatment will be referred to this new initiative and will then lose their place on the original waiting list; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
