20 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the increasing pressure on young people to leave home, in view of the fact that, if unemployed, the means test which their parents undergo often leaves them with little benefit in comparison with the extra money available from the Eastern Health Board and Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs if in flat accommodation; and the action, if any, he will take to change this system which benefits private landlords and dissuades families from staying together, especially if young people are unemployed.
