Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the measures that have been put in place to address the damage caused to homes as a result of persons employing contractors and builders listed on the SEAI website whose work has subsequently been substandard and resulted in damage and substandard work to the homes of persons when done as part of the retrofit scheme; and the damages or court action, if any that has been initiated against a person (details supplied) as a result of complaints and subsequent site inspections of work carried out by their firm including the work that they carried out on the home of persons.
