151. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the extent to which he continues to engage with the authorities in smaller and-or rural schools, including those under the patronage of the Church of Ireland, with a view to ensuring that the educational needs of such communities continue to be met in a fair and equitable fashion and have ongoing and readily available access to the full spectrum of educational facilities; if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of some school patrons in this regard; if he expects to be in a position to give a reassurance in the face of such concerns; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
