Deputy Sandra McLellan asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of applicants there were under the supplementary assistance payment or other social protection payments for help due to severe flooding in Dublin and elsewhere in the country since major floods on 24 October 2011; the number granted a payment and the amount of the additional €10 million she had allocated for flod relief that year since; and if she has had any further discussion with Department of Public Expenditure and Reform on the question of quicker and more targeted payment.
