Deputy Barry Heneghan asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 298, 301 and 302 of 10 February 2026, whether his Department has undertaken a delivery risk assessment of the 5 GW offshore wind target for 2030 in light of the anticipated planning determinations in 2026, construction timelines to 2030, and grid connection dates extending to 2031 and 2033; the total offshore wind capacity currently dependent on port or transmission infrastructure that is not yet operational; whether contingency measures are in place should planning, grid or port infrastructure timelines slip, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
