153. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the extent to which her Department continues to monitor the incidents of school bullying; if she is conscious of the fact that a considerable amount of school bullying remains unreported due to fear on the part of the victims; if she will put in place structures to facilitate early identification and intervention with a view to minimising the incidents and protecting children of all ages who are subject to this behaviour; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
