Durkan asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government the extent to which the emergency housing needs of local authority housing applicants, in each of the local authorities including County Kildare, continues to be met; if, by reference to the current position, he is satisfied that adequate provision has been made or is being made to cater for the number of persons likely to become homeless for one reason or another over the next two years; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
