220 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress that has been made on the recommendation of the task force on dyslexia that each primary and post-primary school should identify in the school development plan a named teacher with responsibility for the co-ordination of services for students with learning difficulties arising from dyslexia and other special needs and that this teacher's duties should include the maintenance of records, liaison with parents and with professionals outside the school, liaison between the students' teachers and the maintenance of links between students' primary and post-primary schools.
