Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation given that officials of the Office of Government Procurement informed the Committee of Public Accounts on 10 July 2025 that contracting authorities are required under legislation and Government policy to publish contract award notices, that evidence suggested not all organisations were doing so, and that no penalties exist for non-compliance, whether he is satisfied that the current arrangements provide an effective mechanism to ensure adherence to these requirements.
