Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage in the context of the private rental sector reforms, if in respect of those landlords with four properties or less, who had intended their properties to be part of a pension arrangement, if said landlords are obliged to sell the properties with the sitting tenants still in place; if he agrees that there is a risk of sitting tenants’ arrangements reducing market value of such property and or limiting availability of such properties to first-time buyers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
