PQ 161

234 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Health and Children if she will allocate extra funds to the Health Service Executive to enable it to give the necessary financial support to the Coeliac Society of Ireland to continue its work and meet the future needs of their community, in view of the fact that the HSE has stated on this issue that it did not receive additional resources in 2006 sufficient to deal with the many worthwhile developments which the voluntary and other sectors within the health service have actively sought to introduce in order to bring about key improvements.
