Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Social Protection if civil and public servants who take early retirement and are under 65 years of age and were paying full rate PRSI as they were employed post 1995 will have to be actively seeking work to be eligible for a social welfare payment and notify the Department when they are going on holidays; whether their entitlement to Jobseeker's benefit will be limited to nine months; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
