Deputy Kathleen Funchion asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason for cutting the number of special needs assistants, SNAs, from a school (details supplied) from 3.5 to 3.2 for September 2019; if he and the National Council for Special Education, NCSE, will urgently review the proposal in order that incoming children for September 2019 in need of vital physical, communication and behavioural assistance will receive the care they need in order to attend school; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
